In the Summer of 2012, this bird landed on my yard and started to make its noise - at that time I didn't believe in the myth. To me it was an annoying sound but to my uncle it was alarming. We later on learned that my Grandmothers's sister's husband had past on. So today i believe it does bear bad news.

This bird (Inkankane) is a usual visitor to my place. I normally don't mind them as they make their sound almost everyday. BUT on the 6th July 2021 it crossed our neighborhood in the morning and made its sounds. I noticed that the sound was annoying indeed. Later on that day we heard bad news that our neighbor's wife had passed on from the local hospital.
ReplyDeleteAlso on the 19th July 2021 it made its sounds early in the morning and I received a call informing me of my niece who died in a car accident that morning. I didn't believe in myths and symbols but now I am convinced that these things might be true.
